Job summary

Venues NSW seeks a Manager, Emergency Management and Security Operations to oversee security infrastructure, contracted services and emergency preparedness across the Venues NSW network. The role leads security planning, staff development and contract management, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure compliant, high‑standard security and resilience.

Applicants should have several years in security leadership, RSA, First Aid, relevant tertiary qualifications,

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ operational asset security and contract management experience.
• Experience in emergency management planning is required.
• RSA and First Aid certifications are necessary.
• Understanding of NSW Security Industry Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight of security infrastructure and contracted services.
• Lead security planning, supervision and training of security staff.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external security providers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, resilience and risk objectives across Venues NSW.
• Develop and improve incident response and emergency management frameworks.
