Job summary

Ericsson seeks a Security Director in Australia to enable sales of our full security portfolio. You will provide customers with proof points of our security position and how we help achieve their security goals.

As trusted security advisor to Customer Units and partners, you will drive security delivery, advise on risk, governance, privacy, and contract reflection, and lead cross-functional security programs to close gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, security or related field.
• 8–10 years of cybersecurity experience with telecom/IoT domain exposure preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English with cross‑functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal security projects and balance strategy with hands-on management.
• Advise customers on secure solutions, risk, governance, and privacy needs.
• Coordinate with Ericsson security teams to address contractual security commitments.
• Communicate security/compliance concepts to internal and external audiences.
