Job summary

Ericsson in Sydney is seeking a Security Director to strengthen our ability to sell, deliver and develop solutions that meet customers' security needs. You will lead a diverse security team and act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal partners.

In this role you will drive pre-sales and post-sales security engagements, address privacy and regulatory concerns, align contracts with security commitments, and collaborate across Ericsson's security community to verify delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology, security or similar technical area.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 8–10 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Solid telecom/IoT domain expertise.
• Experience with product security, privacy and general cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and regulations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• Ability to lead internal security projects and cross-functional facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a team with diverse security skills and grow.
• Establish yourself as a trusted security advisor to customers and internal partners.
• Provide proactive security advice to Ericsson Customer Units and decision-makers.
• Serve as the key contact between the Customer and Ericsson on Security, Privacy and BCM.
• Ensure security/privacy concerns are reflected in contracts and verify delivery commitments.
• Assist in pre-sales and post-sales to assess customer requirements.
• Advise customers on security domains including risk assessment, governance, data management and product security.
• Drive project delivery and gap closure by analyzing technology and defining requirements.
