Job summary

AGL's Risk & Compliance team has a newly created opportunity for a Risk Business Partner. Reporting into the Risk & Compliance Manager, you'll partner with operational teams across Energy Assets, strengthening risk capability, support informed decision-making and embed consistent risk practices.

You will identify, assess and manage risk with strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement, while coaching teams to apply risk frameworks. Frequent travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, governance, assurance or operational improvement within a large or complex organisation.
• Practical understanding of risk assessment, controls, treatment planning and action tracking.
• Strong facilitation, communication and stakeholder partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operational leaders and teams to identify, assess and manage risk.
• Facilitate risk workshops, assessments and reviews.
• Provide practical guidance on controls, treatments and risk actions.
• Support the quality of risk registers, reporting and governance processes.
• Coach teams and build confidence in applying risk frameworks and tools.
• Identify emerging issues and opportunities to improve how we manage risk.
• Regular travel to AGL's operational assets and sites.
