Job summary

Australian Energy Regulator seeks an Assistant Director - Recruitment and Planning to lead recruitment and workforce planning initiatives. You will guide SES recruitment activities, coordinate with stakeholders, and optimise HR processes within the TechOne ERP environment.

Working with the AER offers a strategic leadership role, emphasis on workforce capability, and a pathway to shape critical HR services in a transitioning energy landscape.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expert understanding and application of relevant HR frameworks and legislation.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and AHRI accreditation desirable.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders and manage complex projects with organization-wide implications.
• Experience in end-to-end SES recruitment activities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver recruitment and workforce planning strategies and activities.
• Lead SES recruitment planning, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.
• Review and enhance standard configurations in the ERP system (TechOne).
• Provide strategic and operational advice on workforce matters.
• Build an inclusive, high-performing team through coaching and development.
