Job summary

At Yates, part of the DuluxGroup, we are seeking a Purchasing & Material Planner for our Mt Druitt site to ensure smooth production flow and timely procurement. You will work closely with the Production Planner, spotting missing components early, raising purchase orders on time, and keeping materials moving across the site and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years' experience in supply chain, procurement or planning.
• Manufacturing experience, ideally with complex product ranges.
• SAP experience (highly regarded, but if you learn fast, we'll set you up to succeed).
• Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a curious, open approach.

Responsibilities

• Turn the production plan into action and ensure on-time execution.
• Spot missing components early and raise purchase orders on time.
• Keep raw materials, packaging and third-party bulk flowing to Mt Druitt site.
• Work with the Production Planner and cross-site teams to solve problems and improve processes.
