Job summary

UNSW Kensington Campus in Sydney seeks a Senior Project Officer to drive initiatives under the UNSW Strategy: Progress for All. You will manage projects, engage with faculties and divisions, and report progress to university leadership.

The role requires a tertiary degree and strong experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic communication. This is a hybrid, full-time position with potential for career development and involvement in high-impact university initiatives.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or equivalent knowledge via education/training.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including setting up stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• High level organisational skills with ability to prioritise workloads for timely delivery.
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish initiatives under the UNSW Strategy: Progress for All.
• Maintain relationships with faculties/divisions to implement initiatives.
• Prepare reports on Strategy progress for University Leadership Team and others.
• Develop, implement and manage specific projects or events for the Strategy Office.
• Oversee project plans and schedules and participate in planning processes.
