Sunshine Coast Council is seeking a Project Officer to support the Office of the Mayor in delivering Council’s priorities and coordinating communications, reports and briefs. Based at Maroochydore City Hall, you will work with Councillors and executive staff to advance strategic initiatives and ensure timely, accurate admin and project support.

Applicants should have qualifications in business, administration, or project management, plus strong written communication and stakeholder engagement

Qualificações

• Qualifications in business, administration, project management, communications or a related discipline.
• Organised and proactive professional with proven experience providing high-level administrative support.
• Excellent written communication skills for reports, briefs and presentations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-level administrative, operational and project support to the Office of the Mayor.
• Coordinate research, reports, correspondence, briefings and presentations on strategic issues.
• Support mayoral communications, including speech writing, social media and advocacy activities.
• Manage collaborative stakeholder relationships across Council and the community.
