Job summary

Bailey Abbott Pty Ltd in Darwin is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 6-month engagement. You will provide leadership, coordination, and direction for delivery of assigned projects, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with client objectives.

You will drive change management, training, and communications, manage risks and governance, and work with cross-functional teams to embed new capabilities in operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience leading teams or delivering organisational or technology-enabled change.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and manage people and resources in high-risk environments.
• Strong knowledge of planning, risk, and governance disciplines within project delivery.
• Ability to balance delivery with adoption and embed outcomes into operations.
• Experience leading change management, training, and user engagement for transformation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
• Experience identifying operational, regulatory, and/or legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level leadership, coordination, and oversight for in-scope project deliverables.
• Drive adoption and integration of new systems, tools, processes, and ways of working.
• Steer business readiness to adopt project outputs.
• Coordinate internal and external communications with stakeholders.
• Apply project management methodologies to ensure planning, control, and delivery.
• Manage detailed schedules with critical paths.
• Manage risks, issues, and constraints with governance and probity.
• Monitor outcomes to ensure benefits are realised and sustained.
• Lead change management, training, and communications initiatives.
• Analyse regulatory requirements relevant to the project environment.
• Provide progress updates on risks and performance to senior management.
• Contribute to other digital transformation initiatives as required.
