Job summary

TriCare in Queensland seeks an experienced leader to drive major retirement living and aged care developments from concept through construction. You will coordinate consultant teams, manage programmes, budgets and risks, ensuring projects align with business objectives.

You will lead planning, design, approvals and tender processes, overseeing design development and buildability while working with architects, engineers, planners and contractors to resolve complex issues and deliver high-quality,

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a construction-related field as listed.
• Proven experience delivering major property or construction projects.
• Strong commercial, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple development projects through planning, detailed design and approvals.
• Manage architects, engineers, planners and other specialist consultants.
• Coordinate design development and obtain authority and statutory approvals.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and risks.
• Drive value engineering and design optimisation initiatives.
• Oversee the production of tender documentation.
• Provide technical support during tender, construction and into commissioning.
• Review consultant deliverables to ensure design quality and buildability.
• Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders across the business.
