Job summary

TriCare, a leading owner, developer and operator of retirement living and aged care communities in Queensland, seeks a Project Manager – Design & Development to lead major projects from concept through construction. You will coordinate consultant teams, manage budgets and approvals, and drive value engineering.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Property Development or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering major property or construction projects.
• Strong consultant management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery.
• Excellent commercial, planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple development projects through planning, detailed design and approvals.
• Manage architects, engineers, planners and other specialist consultants.
• Coordinate design development and obtain authority and statutory approvals.
• Manage project programmes, budgets and risks.
• Drive value engineering and design optimisation initiatives.
• Oversee the production of tender documentation.
• Provide technical support during tender, construction and into commissioning.
• Review consultant deliverables to ensure design quality and buildability.
• Work collaboratively with operational stakeholders across the business.
