Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking an experienced Development Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of development projects across our Residential Care and Retirement Living portfolio. You will drive feasibility, approvals, procurement, design excellence and handover, balancing time, cost, quality, safety and customer experience.

The role requires tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Property, Construction or a related discipline and a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering complex

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience delivering complex property development or construction projects.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and contract management.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors, and multiple stakeholders across project lifecycles.
• Sound knowledge of development, construction governance, risk management and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of development projects from feasibility, approvals and procurement through to construction and handover.
• Develop and implement project strategies that balance time, cost, quality, safety, risk and customer experience.
• Prepare business cases, feasibility assessments, approval papers and governance submissions.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, cash flow, commercial performance and development returns.
• Drive design excellence and ensure alignment with operational needs, sustainability goals and standards.
• Build relationships with residents, councils, consultants and contractors and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, WHS requirements, policies and development standards.
