The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or related field and 3+ years in project controlling, with strong Excel and ERP skills (SAP/Oracle). Queensland-based, onsite position with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of experience in project controlling, financial analysis, or similar.
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop, monitor, and control project budgets ensuring alignment with scope and objectives.
Prepare and analyze project forecasts, identify risks and opportunities.
Track actuals vs. budget/forecast and explain variances with corrective actions.
Generate financial reports including P&L, cash flow, and cost-to-complete analyses.
Collaborate with project managers to set financial plans and KPIs.
Perform financial risk assessments and mitigation strategies for projects.
Ensure compliance with policies and accounting standards; support audits.
Contribute to process improvements in project control tools and methods.
Effectively communicate financial performance to teams and senior management.
