Bank Australia is seeking a strategic, energetic Program Manager to lead a team of EPMO Project Managers and drive end-to-end delivery of assigned programs aligned with the Corporate Strategy.

You will partner with business leaders to ensure timely decisions, manage risks, and optimise resources. Travel between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane is required as needed. The role offers flexible working options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven program, project and stakeholder management of high-profile strategic activity.
• Experience managing program support from 3rd parties at the delivery level.
• Ability to build and maintain an effective team culture around a shared vision for success.
• Proven ability to deliver time, cost, benefits, ROI and quality within risk appetite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your team of EPMO Project Managers and oversee their delivery efforts.
• Program and project manage assigned strategic activity and own end-to-end delivery to achieve timely outcomes and KPIs.
• Earn and maintain a reputation for being a trusted partner in program and project management of strategic activity.
• Provide early warning of emerging risks or issues threatening the Critical Path, budget or scope.
• Design, implement and embed metrics for measuring success in realising benefits.
• Provide clear, timely status reporting and line-of-sight over health and budget performance.
• Facilitate change journeys with the Bank’s Change Management Team and support adoption.
• Promote simplification and standardisation of program management processes.
