Job summary

Bank Australia is seeking a strategically minded Project Manager for a 12‑month engagement to drive a major data migration and core banking integration. The role will lead implementation teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure timely decisions while optimising resources across time, people, money and expertise.

The position may be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane with travel between locations required.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years accumulated experience in a similar role or capacity.
• PM/Project Management related degree or MBA preferred.
• Experience delivering high‑risk strategic activity in support of corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

• Project manage assigned strategic activity end‑to‑end to achieve timely outcomes and KPIs.
• Lead project implementation teams and coordinate with third parties and stakeholders.
• Provide risk warnings and ensure alignment with budget, scope and quality.
