Job summary

Marr Contracting Pty Ltd, a world leader in heavy lift luffing tower cranes, seeks a commercially minded Procurement Specialist to join the Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics team in Sefton, Sydney. You will source critical goods and services, partnering with operations, engineering, projects, HSEQ and finance to support safe, successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or senior buyer positions.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capabilities.
• Experience evaluating suppliers, pricing structures, lead times and total cost considerations.
• Experience using ERP or purchasing systems.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end sourcing and procurement activities.
• Supplier identification, evaluation and performance management.
• Commercial analysis and negotiation of favourable supply agreements.
• Managing purchase orders and procurement processes through to delivery.
• Supporting procurement governance, compliance and risk management.
• Building strong internal stakeholder and supplier relationships.
• Identifying opportunities to improve value, reduce costs and strengthen supply continuity.
• Supporting procurement initiatives across Australia and broader global operations where required.
