Job summary

Redland City Council is seeking an experienced Procurement Governance Manager to lead the Procurement Governance function and uplift procurement practices across the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Procurement Officer, you will shape policies, manage risk, ensure audit readiness and drive system improvements and digital transformation.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, influence senior stakeholders and deliver value for the community across Redlands Coast.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex organisations.
• Extensive experience providing strategic procurement governance advice.
• Strong understanding of procurement legislation, governance frameworks and audit processes.
• Experience developing, reviewing and implementing procurement policies and governance frameworks.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team within a complex organisation.
• Drive the ongoing development and improvement of procurement governance policies and procedures.
• Build organisational capability through education, coaching and change initiatives.
• Partner with Councillors, senior leaders and audit teams to strengthen procurement outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice in procurement.
