Job summary

Transgrid, through its LUMEA brand, seeks a Customer Portfolio Manager to lead senior customer relationships across major energy infrastructure projects. You will act as the interface between customers, delivery teams and internal stakeholders, managing commitments and commercial exposure.

You will influence decisions across the portfolio, align delivery realities with customer positions, and support governance and improved portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing senior customer relationships across complex projects.
• Strong commercial judgement including contract risk, claims and variations.
• Ability to communicate complex matters to executives.
• Ability to influence teams without direct authority.
• Experience in infrastructure or capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain senior customer relationships, aligning expectations, managing escalations and maintaining confidence through complex project environments.
• Provide customer and commercial leadership across a portfolio of infrastructure projects.
• Maintain visibility of customer commitments, commercial exposure, delivery confidence and emerging portfolio risks.
• Review and challenge positions, supporting timely decisions, intervention and escalation.
• Work with project delivery and commercial management teams to align delivery facts, customer positions and commercial strategy.
• Lead or support material customer discussions and negotiations within agreed commercial guardrails.
• Influence multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders without relying on direct reporting authority.
• Bring customer and commercial insights into bid handover, project governance, close-out and continuous improvement.
