Job summary

Transgrid in Sydney is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver project governance, risk, schedule and cost control across large capital infrastructure delivery.

You will report to the Project Delivery Manager, support engagement with the Executive Leadership Team, and collaborate with Lumea to implement the PMO framework.

The role offers scope to lead complex programs, maintain high performance teams and ensure compliance with financial and regulatory reporting obligations.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or relevant discipline.
• Project Management qualification desirable.
• Extensive experience managing large capital HV substations and/or transmission lines.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project elements to deliver on budget, quality, schedule and commercial outcomes.
• Manage risk, quality, resources, communications, procurement and cost control.
• Support project planning and schedule management with monitoring of performance.
• Contribute to project risk management framework with visibility of risks.
• Coordinate third‑party interfaces and stakeholder engagement across workstreams.
