Transgrid is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Infrastructure Delivery team, working on Lumea Projects. You will manage the project engineering function within the project team, providing detailed engineering management and support across multiple concurrent projects Australia‑wide.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline with relevant accreditation.
• Proven experience designing, constructing and managing large infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and change management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage construction contracts and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior project engineers and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate design responses for construction and resolve issues.
• Manage IFC designs, as-built drawings and project close-out.
• Deliver projects where a Project Manager is not assigned.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates and budgets.
• Provide expert technical advice and escalate issues when needed.
• Ensure compliance with financial, audit and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Report monthly on schedule, budget and risk to the project team.
