Job summary

The Department of Education located in East Perth is advertising a permanent full-time Senior Strategic Analyst role, commencing December 2026. The role focuses on developing and implementing policy for teacher registration and providing strategic input to the TRBWA and directorate.

You will analyse trends, prepare briefing materials, and support policy and IT-related issues. You will contribute to reviews of business processes and quality assurance, and collaborate with cross‑departmental teams

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policy on teacher registration.
• Participate in strategic and business planning processes at State and National level.
• Provide expert policy advice to the Director, Assistant Director and Teacher Registration Board.
• Provide operational support services on policy and IT issues to TRBWA and directorate.
• Analyse trends and prepare papers for discussion; join working groups on teacher registration.
• Liaise with customer service providers and consult on policy and workflow management.
• Assist in audit of work outcomes and monitor trends impacting teacher registration in WA.
