Job summary
The Department of Education, Western Australia is seeking a Senior Strategic Analyst to develop and implement policy on teacher registration. You will provide expert policy advice to the Director and Assistant Director, and support the Teacher Registration Board with operations and IT-related issues.
You will review business processes, conduct research, and prepare briefing notes and ministerial correspondence.
Qualifications
- Policy analysis and strategic planning experience.
- Ability to prepare briefing notes and ministerial correspondence.
- Experience liaising with stakeholders and government agencies.
Responsibilities
- Review business processes and quality assurance related to teacher registration.
- Undertake research and projects on teacher registration; prepare briefing notes and ministerial papers.
- Participate in working groups and meetings; provide senior representation on issues.
- Liaise with customer service providers and consult on policy/workflow changes.
- Assist in audits of work outcomes and provide feedback to management.
- Monitor trends and developments impacting teacher registration; plan and evaluate TRBWA website content.
