Job summary

Pfizer Australia seeks a Program Manager (PMO) to lead the site transformation portfolio at the Melbourne site. You will govern a portfolio spanning Technology Transfers, NPI, product/process changes and digital initiatives like iRTM, ensuring alignment with safety, quality and supply objectives.

You will partner with global functions to remove barriers, drive readiness, and deliver measurable business outcomes while fostering a culture of excellence and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business, or related discipline; postgraduate qualification.
• Extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or highly regulated environments.
• Proven ability to convert strategy into executable programs and manage complex portfolios.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Execute the site transformation agenda with clear alignment to strategic priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Provide PMO governance, portfolio visibility, prioritisation, resource alignment and executive reporting.
• Own project lifecycle management and stage-gate governance via portfolio reviews.
• Maintain portfolio visibility, monitor health, schedule adherence, budgets and benefits realization.
• Liaise with capital projects to ensure budget alignment and funding.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO practices through coaching and standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Regulatory, EHS and Finance.
