Job summary

Hawkesbury City Council in Windsor, NSW, seeks a Strategic Planner to develop and manage the infrastructure contributions framework, ensuring fair and transparent contributions to infrastructure for growth while supporting long-term financial sustainability.

You will have urban planning qualifications with experience in development contributions plans, strong analytical and financial modelling skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning or related discipline.
• Experience in preparation, review and administration of development contributions plans and infrastructure funding mechanisms.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA) or equivalent.
• Experience working in Local Government.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and administer Council’s infrastructure contributions framework.
• Ensure development growth contributes fairly and transparently to infrastructure provision.
• Support Council’s long-term financial sustainability.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
