Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to think clearly, solve problems and provide honest advice when issues change.
• Flexible, team-focused approach with strong writing and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Research and write clear media releases and speaking notes.
• Promote key policies and programs through the media and respond to enquiries.
• Track news coverage and prepare reports showing how the department appears in the news.
• Write and review content for publications, events and public updates.
• Collaborate with senior staff, ministerial offices and teams to share accurate information.
