Job summary

Australia Post is seeking a Manager – Quality Engineering, Automation & Performance to lead the enterprise capability for quality engineering, automation and performance testing across Technology. You will define standards, frameworks and roadmaps to enable shift-left quality and higher release confidence, while guiding QE specialists and coordinating with Engineering, Architecture and Delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading quality engineering, automation, performance engineering or software testing in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience establishing standards, frameworks and governance for automation and API/contract testing.
• Strong vendor and partner management experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the enterprise Quality Engineering, Automation & Performance strategy, operating model, standards and roadmap.
• Drive shift-left quality practices including testability, API/contract testing and automation-first delivery.
• Standardise reusable frameworks and guardrails to improve quality across platforms.
• Use data and insights to identify risks, gaps and opportunities for uplift across the enterprise.
