Job summary

Boral is seeking a Management Accountant for its NSW Concrete businesses (Metro, Regional and Concrite). You’ll close the month accurately, explain the result to non-finance stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations.

Regular site presence and strong ERP/Excel skills are essential. You’ll report to the Commercial Finance Manager and have a clear path into senior commercial finance roles across our national business.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified
• Experience in a large, well-established business
• Construction or heavy industry background preferred
• Confident with a major ERP and strong Excel skills
• Able to explain results to non-finance stakeholders
• Willingness to travel to operational sites

Responsibilities

• Deliver month-end close, reporting and variance analysis
• Build budgets, forecasts and rolling cash/volume outlooks
• Report and interpret the balanced scorecard for the unit
• Analyze costs, production volumes, margins and overheads
• Value and reconcile inventory with operations
• Prepare capital business cases and track benefits after approval
• Review maintenance and contractor spend with site leaders
• Support coaching area managers on the numbers they own
• Strengthen controls, reconciliations and month-end discipline
