Job summary

Stratco is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join the Finance team in Queensland. The role reports to the Financial Controller and covers management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory accounting and commercial analysis to support Stratco Group operations.

The successful candidate will work with operational and finance stakeholders to provide accurate financial information, identify trends and support informed decision-making across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualification, or progress towards accreditation.
• Minimum five years' experience in a Management Accountant or similar role.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
• Coordinate month-end processes and ensure timely financial results.
• Develop annual budgets and forecasts with variance analyses.
• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends and risks.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare BAS and assist with FBT and other tax compliance.
• Support stocktake and inventory reporting.
• Provide financial insights to support commercial decision-making.
