Job summary

Samphire Rottnest seeks a Sales Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives for the luxury island resort. You will drive revenue growth across rooms, conferences & incentives, wellness, and large-scale social events, collaborating with teams to create memorable client experiences while implementing innovative campaigns.

The role focuses on closing deals, building authentic client relationships, and developing creative sales strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years sales experience in hotel sales, functions and events.
• Established contacts within the corporate marketplace or ability to develop relationships quickly.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to regularly commute to Rottnest Island and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance with seasonal selling strategies, campaigns and direct booking initiatives.
• Generate new business leads through calls, appointments, familiarisations and networking events.
• Build and manage client relationships via account management, tenders and contract negotiations.
• Conduct site inspections and represent the hotel at trade shows and client functions.
• Design attractive sales packages and assist in developing new products for specific markets.
• Develop strategies to maximise revenue management impact.
