Queensland Government is seeking a Director, Medicines, Strategy and Governance, to lead statewide medicines management, policy development, and regulatory initiatives across Queensland Health. You will drive frameworks, formulary direction, and funding programs while representing the department at national forums.

The role requires expert knowledge in medicines management, strong strategic oversight, and proven leadership of cross-functional teams and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
• Expert knowledge in medicines management and policy development.
• Ability to provide strategic advice and lead in dynamic environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with budget and workforce planning experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership on medicines strategy, governance, and regulatory matters for Queensland Health.
• Lead statewide frameworks, medicines policy, and legislative reform.
• Oversee Commonwealth medicines programs and funding arrangements.
• Guide the medicines formulary to ensure safe, equitable access and sustainability.
• Represent Queensland Health at national forums and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team and manage resources effectively.
• Contribute to Health Workforce Division Executive Leadership Team.
