Job summary

SA Health – Dept for Health and Wellbeing in Adelaide is seeking an Associate Director, Data & AI Governance to lead the Data & AI Governance Unit. The role reports to the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) and shapes governance across activity data, AI initiatives and data management for SA Health’s hospital system.

You will manage stakeholder engagement, coordinate DAI/DHW projects, ensure data quality and liaison with National and State Committees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data & AI Governance Unit within the DAI branch.
• Engage and manage relationships with customers, collaborators and stakeholders ensuring trusted collaborative relationships.
• Coordinate data- and information-related DAI / DHW / SA Health projects.
• Govern data assets pertaining to activity data and ensure data quality assurance and documentation.
• Interface with National and State Committees for AI and data governance, and manage activity data collections.
• Support the delivery of DAI priority projects and provide leadership for all DAI employees.
