APA Group seeks a Lead Land Access & Approvals to join our Access, Approvals and Geospatial Solutions team in Perth, WA. You will oversee land access, tenure and stakeholder engagement for major energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery.

You will lead negotiations with landowners and agencies, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and provide strategic advice to navigate approvals, permits and licences across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Extensive WA land access and tenure experience.
• Experience with Land Administration Act 1997 WA and Mining Act 1978 WA.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and negotiation with landowners and agencies.
• Safety-first mindset and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Lead land access, tenure, stakeholder engagement and approvals for power/renewables projects across origination to feasibility.
• Develop land access and impact mitigation strategies to support project objectives.
• Manage preparation and progression of statutory approvals, permits and licences.
• Negotiate with landowners, pastoralists, mining tenement holders and agencies to secure access and tenure.
• Provide strategic advice on tenure, approvals requirements and risks to enable feasible schedules.
• Coordinate consultants and cross-functional teams to deliver milestones safely, on time and within budget.
• Support business development by assessing access pathways, costs, risks and feasibility.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to influence outcomes and support project delivery.
