Job summary

KBR is seeking an Inventory Officer in Melbourne, Australia, to optimise supply chain operations by analysing logistics systems and supporting plans that improve inventory control and product flow. You will coordinate stakeholders and logistics processes aligned with delivery goals, ensuring efficient distribution performance.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS or substantial related experience, plus proficiency in Word, Excel and MS Project, with strong communication and stakeholder-management

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related field, or 10+ years progressive experience in a related field
• 2 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain Management
• Expertise in computing: Word, Excel, MS Project and database maintenance/reporting
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong relationship skills and stakeholder management across all levels of an enterprise

Responsibilities

• Analyse and implement logistics plans affecting production, distribution and inventory to enhance product flow
• Contribute to development and implementation of logistics plans for finished products
• Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory and analyse requirements to meet delivery times and order fill rates
• Maintain records and prepare reports
• Coordinate logistics activities with internal/external customers
• Provide activity and status reports to management
