The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is seeking an experienced Manager, Internal Communications to lead a team of communications professionals and provide strategic communications advice to senior executives, including the Secretary, Chief People Officer and senior executive teams. The role focuses on employee engagement, culture, and translating complex organisational priorities into clear messages.

Qualifications

Extensive experience providing communications advice to senior executives.
Strong leadership and people management capability.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to translate complex information into clear messages.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of communications professionals and provide strategic communications advice to senior executives.
Develop enterprise-wide employee communications and engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to shape communication approaches for complex priorities.
