Job summary

Adica Insurance is seeking an Integration & Application Architect to lead the architecture standards and roadmaps across our cloud and on-premises estate in Melbourne. You will govern integration patterns, ensure security and compliance, and partner with business and technology leaders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Reporting to the Head of Architecture, you’ll shape target-state designs, embed regulatory obligations (APRA CPS 230/234), and mentor delivery teams while

Qualifications

• Experience designing and governing application and integration architectures across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments.
• Proficiency in architecture patterns (monolithic, web-scale, composable, cloud-native).
• Strong knowledge of modern integration patterns (APIs, event-driven, microservices, cloud-native).
• Experience establishing architecture standards, governance frameworks and design principles across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Integration and Application Architecture roadmaps and reference architectures.
• Provide architectural governance across projects and operations for alignment with principles.
• Translate requirements into scalable technology solutions with stakeholders.
• Review designs for consistency, reusability and pattern alignment.
• Define platform ownership and lifecycle management for apps and integration services.
• Embed security, privacy, risk and regulatory requirements (APRA CPS 230/234).
• Evaluate emerging technologies to support transformation.
• Mentor and share knowledge across teams.
