Job summary

Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network (FUNLHN) seeks an experienced HR advisor to provide strategic and operational guidance to executive and senior managers across complex workforce matters.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support employee relations, workforce development and continuous improvement while delivering expert advice on HR policies and legislation. The role is based in the Far North region with flexible working options where available.

Qualifications

• Significant experience providing strategic and operational HR advice to executive and senior managers.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation and business partnering skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex employee relations matters and provide practical HR solutions.
• Experience interpreting awards, legislation and policies and applying them to achieve business outcomes.
• Experience developing and delivering HR strategies, policies, programs and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑level strategic and operational HR advice to executive and senior managers across a range of complex workforce matters.
• Partner with designated groups to support employee relations, workforce development and continuous improvement.
• Offer expert guidance on HR policies, legislation and best practice.
• Contribute to development and delivery of HR strategies, policies and training.
