Job summary

Queensland Government's Rail Infrastructure Delivery Office is transforming Queensland's passenger rail network. We are seeking an experienced HR/IR advisor to provide strategic support to the General Manager and senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning, and employee relations within major infrastructure programs.

You will lead a small HR team, ensure compliance with public sector standards, prepare submissions and briefing notes, and guide leaders through complex case

Qualifications

• Experience in organisational design and workforce planning within public sector environments.
• Knowledge of public sector legislation and government directives.
• Proven ability to lead HR projects and complex case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR/IR advice to senior leadership and General Manager on planning and development of organisational design and capability frameworks.
• Oversee day-to-day HR activities of a small team and ensure compliance with legislation.
• Prepare high-quality submissions, reports, and briefing notes on HR issues.
