Job summary

Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD – Brisbane QLD is seeking an experienced HR/IR leader to support the Rail Infrastructure Delivery Office. You will advise senior leadership on organisational design, workforce planning and employee relations within a major government program.

You will oversee a small HR team, develop compliant processes, and prepare submissions, reports and correspondence on HR issues to support large-scale rail projects over the coming decade.

Qualifications

• Experience in organisational design and workforce planning.
• Knowledge of employee relations and case management.
• Understanding of public sector legislation and directives.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR/IR advice to General Manager and senior leadership for organisational design and workforce planning.
• Oversee day-to-day HR activities of a small team and ensure compliance.
• Prepare submissions, reports and correspondence on HR issues.
