Job summary

Safran Electronics & Defense Australasia Pty Ltd (SEDA) seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to work with the Head of HR, manage HR administration, and partner with teams on growth and development. The role covers talent acquisition, training coordination, and employee relations across the Australian operations.

You will streamline recruitment processes, support induction and training programs, and coach line management to enhance performance and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Education or Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a HR business partnering role.
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with day-to-day HR related queries.

Responsibilities

• Write and arrange the placement of advertisements for vacant positions internally & externally.
• Arrange interviews for short listed candidates.
• Complete first round interviews with hiring manager and recommend second interview for Head of HR.
• Coordinate pre-employment medicals and police checks.
• Conduct reference checks on short listed candidates.
• Create relevant contract with correct individual details as advised by Head of HR.
• Prepare selection packs for successful candidates including letter of offer, all employment forms and relevant contract.
• Ensure new employees are added to relevant training databases.
• Conduct all induction tasks required as a part of new employee commencing.
