Job summary

Calvary is seeking a Workforce Planning Officer to shape rostering strategy and drive data-informed decisions across hospitals, aged care and home care services. You will partner with leaders to improve rostering efficiency, compliance, and operational performance at scale across a national healthcare organisation.

You’ll collaborate with operational teams to implement best-practice scheduling, provide expert support on data analysis, and train users on UKG/Kronos systems.

Qualifications

• Experience using Kronos/UKG Pro or similar rostering applications.
• Demonstrated experience in complex staff rostering and scheduling large teams.
• Healthcare experience is highly regarded.
• Strong workforce analytics and reporting capability.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
• Solid understanding of Enterprise Agreement compliance and rostering best practices.

Responsibilities

• Influence workforce and operational decisions through data-driven insights.
• Drive rostering improvements and compliance across a national healthcare organisation.
• Support roster administration in line with policies and budgeted plans.
• Implement advanced scheduling practices across multiple streams.
• Deliver training and support for UKG/Kronos rostering requirements.
• Ensure roster compliance with Enterprise Agreements and regulatory standards.
• Analyse rostering data to support reporting accuracy and budget outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and solve rostering issues.
• Review overtime, shift compliance and casual workforce utilisation.
• Partner with Talent and operations to support planning and vacancy management.
