Job summary

CDC Data Centres seeks a Senior leader to head Site Acquisition across Australia and New Zealand. You will identify opportunities, manage feasibility, and drive from initial site search through to consent and handover into development.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will steer negotiations with landowners, utilities and regulators while aligning with development, construction and operations to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

Experience in site acquisition, land strategy or major infrastructure projects.
Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills.
Ability to assess feasibility and development viability.
Proven ability to influence diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of CDC's site acquisition strategy.
Own consenting strategy for new site acquisitions and regulatory approvals.
Manage site selection, due diligence and development viability reviews.
Negotiate with landowners, agents and other stakeholders to secure sites.
Coordinate with utilities, regulators and government bodies on requirements.
Present business cases and acquisition strategies to support investment decisions.
Ensure seamless handover from acquisition to development and delivery.
