Job summary

Downer Professional Services in Canberra is recruiting a Governance Manager to lead governance across Defence ICT and capability projects. You will develop and refine governance frameworks, coordinate forums and executive meetings, and maintain robust artefact registers and decision records.

You will monitor obligations, escalate risks and ensure auditable governance outcomes in line with Defence requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience managing governance activities within large Defence or ICT programs.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and compliance.
• Proven ability to coordinate across executives and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and governance artefacts management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve governance frameworks, processes and procedures.
• Coordinate governance forums and executive meetings.
• Maintain governance artefact registers and decision registers.
• Monitor governance obligations and escalate risks and non-compliance.
• Maintain auditable records of governance decisions and endorsements.
