Job summary

The NSW Department of Education is seeking a Governance Frameworks Officer to strengthen governance across the department. You will help shape frameworks, processes and reporting to promote transparency, accountability and a strong governance culture.

You will analyse data, advise senior leaders, prepare briefs and compelling presentations, and build strong relationships to improve governance across public schools. Flexible arrangements apply with office attendance 5 days per fortnight.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Public Administration or related field.
• Current Working with Children Check Clearance for paid employment.
• Commitment to the value of public education.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and improve governance frameworks, procedures and practices.
• Analyse data and reporting to identify governance gaps and risks.
• Provide practical advice and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Prepare briefs, reports and presentations with clear insights.
• Build relationships to strengthen governance capability across the department.
