Job summary

The NSW Department of Education in Parramatta is seeking a Governance Frameworks Officer to strengthen governance across the department. You will shape frameworks, practices and processes that promote transparency and accountability, and contribute to safer, higher-quality education outcomes.

You will develop and review governance frameworks, analyse data to identify gaps, provide practical advice to senior leaders, prepare briefs and presentations, and influence stakeholders to lift governance

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Public Administration or related field.
• Strong understanding of governance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with briefs/reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and improve governance frameworks and practices.
• Analyse data to identify governance gaps and risks.
• Provide practical advice and recommendations to senior leaders.
• Prepare briefs, reports and presentations with clear insights.
• Influence stakeholders to strengthen governance across the department.
