Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a Financial Controller for a parental leave cover across our national operations in Melbourne. You will report to the Director of Group Finance and oversee the operations of the financial accounting and FP&A teams while supporting the development and implementation of broader Group Finance strategy.

You will lead day-to-day finance operations, budgeting, treasury, external reporting and internal controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a senior finance leadership role
• Experience leading finance teams and partnering with executives
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Organised with robust planning and governance
• Experience in professional services a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily finance operations including treasury, FP&A, accounts payable/receivable and financial accounting
• Deliver timely external reporting and robust financial controls
• Lead annual budgeting and financial planning processes
• Partner with business leaders to translate financial insights into strategic actions
• Manage Workday ERP Finance module configurations and improvements
• Mentor and develop Group Finance personnel
• Support the Director of Group Finance in strategy development
