Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a financially skilled professional to support major investment decisions and the Council’s Long Term Financial Plan. Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Financial Strategy, you will develop financial models, forecasts and scenarios to test affordability and risk.

You will collaborate with Finance, project managers and other stakeholders to prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and Council to inform funding, project and service

Qualifications

• Develop financial models and forecasts for Council’s Long Term Financial Plan, major projects, funding strategies and business cases.
• Model cash flow, Net Present Value and scenarios to assess affordability and long-term risks.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management, Executive and Council.

Responsibilities
