Job summary

Dean & Ling Executive has been engaged to support a leading Australian manufacturing business in a Senior Finance Business Partner role based in Melbourne. You will work with operational leaders to translate performance data into actionable plans, forecasts and budgets, linking financial outcomes to business drivers.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualification with 10+ years' senior-level experience in manufacturing.
• Strong accounting, financial management and reporting skills.
• Advanced financial modelling, including standard costing and ABC models.
• Solid knowledge of cashflows, NPV and valuation metrics.
• ERP experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 (or a similar ERP).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and relate to all levels of management.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
• A sound understanding of business and site processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver budgets, forecasts and month-end reporting across P&L, cash and working capital.
• Lead contract negotiations and pricing review models; manage customer rebates.
• Oversee inventory accounting and variance investigations.
• Support capital business cases and audits.
• Provide insights on cost, efficiency and commercial performance to shape decisions.
• Lead and develop a small team and take on other projects.
