Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for the Melbourne Support Centre. This full-time role, based in the CBD, partners with senior stakeholders to drive growth and profitability through robust financial modelling and strategic insight.

The successful candidate will have CA/CPA qualifications, 5+ years in a similar role, and strong Excel/MS Office skills to support budgeting, pricing, and business cases for major client portfolios. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified accounting professional.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation and administration.
• Strong analytical, commercial and modelling capabilities.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and set priorities.
• Ability to create processes where gaps exist.
• Adaptable to changing requirements with limited structure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to travel for due diligence, reviews and training.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business growth with robust commercial models for tenders and retentions.
• Lead multiple bid development processes with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Prepare pricing and variations for new business on existing contracts.
• Draft memos for CEO, CFO and Finance Head approval.
• Develop business cases and CAPEX requests.
• Lead Profit Improvement Plan implementation and delivery.
• Review contracts, variations and rate escalations.
• Evaluate site performance to optimise profitability and efficiency.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts with insights.
• Ensure financial governance over billing, cash, labour, stock and assets.
• Support month-end processes and close.
