Job summary

Perigon Group is seeking a Finance Manager to join a friendly inner-west Sydney team. You will be the second-in-charge, reporting to the CFO and overseeing all financial reporting for the organisation.

You will lead month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and governance, while developing the finance team of four. CPA/CA qualification and experience with systems like NetSuite are highly valued.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA qualified with strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience delivering accurate financial and management reporting to executive leadership.
• Proven track record leading finance teams and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and financial reporting across P&L and balance sheet.
• Provide management reporting, variance analysis, and CFO/Board reporting.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning including annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Manage external audit and liaise with auditors.
• Lead and develop a finance team of four direct reports.
• Drive automation, AI initiatives, and ERP/system optimisation across finance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and robust internal controls.
