Job summary

Constructive PD in Western Australia is pursuing an experienced Finance Manager to join the senior leadership team and influence our future growth. You will own CPD's monthly financial accounts and shape financial strategy to support sustainable expansion.

Working closely with the Managing Director and leadership team, you will translate business objectives into measurable outcomes, manage cash flow and risk, and oversee project performance while building a high-performing finance function with

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5+ years in a senior finance leadership role or similar position.
• Experience in the construction industry with WIP, progress claims, project financials and contract cash flow.
• Experience with data entry and utilising accounting software (MYOB, PROCORE or similar).
• Proven track record of developing or improving financial systems, reporting and internal controls in a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and modelling to support CPD's growth ambitions.
• Oversee project financial performance, margins, cost-to-complete reporting, WIP, progress claims, retentions and contract cash flow.
• Deliver monthly management accounts, KPI dashboards and leadership reporting with strong controls and governance.
• Manage cash flow, banking facilities, financial risk, payment obligations and bonds.
• Provide commercial input for investment decisions, business development and long-term planning.
• Lead, develop and grow the finance function and strengthen financial awareness across the business.
• Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, banks, insurers and clients.
